Template Creation/Design

Every book goes from the concept development stage to the binding stage. Once the concept is finalised, the template has to be created. At SIS Softlab, we have a multitalented team which realizes the concept development rules in the client specified prepress software.

Template creation/design includes:

Setting up the page layout (recto/verso)

Creating master pages and including the headers and footers

Writing scripts to define every element given in the project specifications

Creation of styles for formatting the content

All templates designed go through client reviews. During this process, the client is actively involved with the team to ensure that the template is created to the total satisfaction of the client.

Page Composition and Typesetting

At SIS Softlab, we compose pages utilizing a cutting edge technology. We would also soon be implementing technological services that would allow the client to update and preview the composed pages via FTP.

Page Production

SIS Soflab  understands that each client has unique requirements. Our prepress services strive to deliver pages that are designed to suit the client's preferred output media. We are also trying to implement services that support the latest computer to plate technology, thereby further reducing the time to print.

Graphic Design

Our graphic design capabilities are yet another advantage of our prepress services. The graphic designers at SIS Softlab are proficient in the latest design applications, and ensure that you receive the most creative and visually stimulating pages that are designed to capture the attention of your readers. We also specialize in creating custom page layouts and delivering the same in a deadlineintensive environment.

Keyboarding

We, at SIS Softlab have an excellent data entry team which is involved in delivering quick, accurate, and efficient output when data conversion fails or is not an option. Keying can be single or double.

Proofing

At SIS Softlab, we have skilled proofreaders who always ensure that they deliver an error-free output the right first time.

Our prepress services also include comprehensive scanning services. We have the expertise and technology to handle scanning for both monotones and color halftones. Our scanning capabilities include graphic origination for linearts and line and tones, which also involves relabelling and redrawing to the highest standard.
